Amb. Michelina Sanquest to Attend Zambia’s Country Review in Rome, Italy
Amb. Michelina Sanquest, the Goodwill Tourism Ambassador of Zambia has been officially invited by an Italian NGO – African People to attend their 2024 African Countries Review of which Zambia will be in focus.
The event is slated for Saturday, 17th of February, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Rome time, at Rome Hall, c/o UNAR, via Aldovrandi 16 Roma, Italy.
“As part of the African Countries Review by African People, a presentation on Zambia will take place in the presence of Zambia’s honorary tourism ambassador Mrs. Michelina Gabrie’ Sanquest. Awaiting a welcome acknowledgement with indications of the modalities that we are bound to respect, I take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for a 2024 of peace and serenity”, the invitation says.
Representatives of tour operators, travel agencies and journalists specialized in the tourism sector will also be in attendance and participate as welcome guests.

“It is always my pleasure to represent Zambia and Africa in general especially in tourism capacity, l am passionate about Africa as an ltalian and l will not relent to support positive initiatives emanating from there”, Sanquest said.
You will recall that Sanquest, an African travel expert and CEO of Globe -Trotters S.A Ltd. who is also an Ambassador of the African Tourism Board, representing Italy was appointed the Goodwill Ambassador for tourism from Italy to Zambia by the Zambian Embassy in Rome. The appointment was given at a ceremony by Zambian Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Joseph Katema in 2022.
Prior to her appointment, Sanquest has been, and still creating African experiences as a tour operator to different African destinations from the European source markets, and also packaging special official missions to many African countries in order to bolster tourism affinity between the two continents.
